The film from Dear John director Lasse Hallström and Slumdog Millionaire writer Simon Beaufoy centres around a fishery expert (McGregor), who is approached by a consultant (Blunt) to make a sheik's vision of bringing fly-fishing to the Yemen a reality.
It also stars the likes of Kristin Scott Thomas, Rachael Stirling and Amr Waked, and is based on the novel of the same name by Paul Torday.
Salmon Fishing premiered at the 2011 Toronto International Film Festival, and will see a full release date on March 9, 2012.
