The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo actress Rooney Mara has admitted that she is not ready to become a Hollywood star.
The 26-year-old, who plays Lisbeth Salander in David Fincher's drama, revealed that she feels somewhat uncomfortable with the level of fame the role will bring her.

Mara told The Mirror: "I don't know about being a star and embracing the limelight. I don't know how I'm going to do that. It'll probably take a lot of work."
She added that she struggled to cope with the film's gruelling 18-month shoot, but was pleased by how much "tougher" she had become at the end of it.

"It was a really trying experience," she said. "It was a difficult year-and-a-half but I learned a lot and I'm certainly a bit tougher now.
"It was a lot of work. There were so many things about this movie that were challenging - I couldn't just pick one. We had a lot of very physical scenes and they were really hard, especially when you're doing take after take after take. It got really exhausting."
Mara has also said that she enjoyed working with Daniel Craig on the film, describing him as a "gifted" and "very generous" actor.
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is currently playing in US cinemas and is released in the UK on Boxing Day.
