Arnold Schwarzenegger's 'Black Sands' gets supernatural storyline

The Arnold Schwarzenegger film Black Sands has received a new title and storyline.

The former California governor first became attached to the action project, in which he was reported to play a "loner who wages war against a ruthless weapons manufacturer and his private army in the Southwest", in October, according to Deadline.

Now, however, the movie has taken on a supernatural twist in the vein of the Keanu Reeves film Constantine.

"I'm a kind of angel," Schwarzenegger told TheArnoldFans fansite. "I can not currently say more about this film."

In addition, the film has been renamed Black Sunday. It begins shooting on April 1, 2012.

It was recently reported that Maria Shriver having second thoughts on divorcing Schwarzenegger. She is allegedly reluctant to part with the actor due to her religious beliefs.

Schwarzenegger will next be seen in The Expendables 2, opposite Jason Statham, Sylvester Stallone, Dolph Lundgren and Mickey Rourke, among others.
