Jolie will give the money to the Bosnian organisation SOS Children's Villages, which helps disadvantaged kids in the war-torn region where In The Land of Blood and Honey is set.
"We are happy that a portion of the proceeds from the film's soundtrack will support SOS Children's Villages in Bosnia and Herzegovina to provide stable, family-based homes to children, regardless of religion, ethnicity or gender, who do not have their own families to care for them," the director said of her charitable contribution.
Jolie has previously revealed that making In The Land of Blood and Honey helped her learn more about the struggles of the Bosnian people.
In The Land of Blood and Honey has received a 'Best Foreign Language Film' Golden Globe nomination.
The film is now playing in US cinemas. A UK release date has not yet been announced.
