The first trailer has been released for the upcoming sci-fi romance Upside Down.
Kirsten Dunst and Jim Sturgess star in the project, which is directed by Juan Diego Solanas. The film is yet to receive an official release date, but is expected to come out later in 2012.

The film's plot follows a man (Sturgess) looking into an alternate universe in order to find a long-lost love from his past (Dunst).
Upside Down is produced by French company Studio 37, Onyx Films and Montreal's Transfilm, and will be released in the country through its local branch of Warner Bros.
Emile Hirsch was reportedly up for the main male role at first, but British actor Sturgess was eventually cast.
