The actress - who plays the role of Effie Trinket in the upcoming big screen adaptation of Suzanne Collins's young adult dystopian trilogy - revealed that she appreciates all fans of the series, as many events which take place throughout the storyline are hard to stomach.
"I'm supportive of anyone who's a fan. "A lot of people don't make it out of The Hunger Games," Banks explained to MTV News.
"I hope I'm not surprising anyone. So, every book requires a new set of recruits, so it's going to be really fun to see who ends up in the next edition."
Banks also discussed her excitement over Effie being the face of the Capitol Colours nail polish line, a special range to be released in cooperation with the film.
"It's weird because it's like, 'Is it real?' They are real nail colours, but this whole 'Capitol Colours' thing, I sort of love that we're creating the Capitol in a real way for fans," she said.
"I am so nerded out on the whole thing. I'm just so excited about the whole thing and the image is really neat."
Banks recently claimed that The Hunger Games is timely and will hopefully teach young people what a difference they can make in the world around them.
