'Battlestar Galactica's Katee Sackhoff joins 'Riddick' film

The Battlestar Galactica actress will star opposite Vin Diesel in the untitled movie, reports Deadline.
Sackhoff will play Dahl, a Nordic mercenary pursuing Riddick after a bounty is placed on his head.
The movie sees Riddick betrayed and abandoned on an inhospitable world, which is soon descended on by a host of bounty hunters after his head.
Sackhoff was rumoured for the movie last year but this is the first solid confirmation of her potential involvement.
Shooting on the Riddick film resumed in December after it was evicted from the studio where it was shooting due to outstanding bills.
Sackhoff will appear in Evil Sexy Genius later in the year.
