The first pictures of Nicholas Hoult in Warm Bodies have been released.

The former Skins star plays a zombie called R who holds onto his humanity despite succumbing to a plague that has struck much of the population and sent survivors into a heavily-guarded city.
The story sees R save Julie (Teresa Palmer) from the clutches of Zombies and Boneys (the next incarnation of the living dead) and begin to act more human as he falls in love with her.
Further to the above image from Collider, two more stills of Hoult in Warm Bodies debuted through USA Today.

"By any standards, Nicholas is pretty fantastic," said director Jonathan Levine. "He's definitely the Brad Pitt of the zombie world. We wanted to stay true to the zombie tradition and yet make a believable romantic interest."
Warm Bodies is based on the zombie romance novel by Isaac Marion.
John Malkovich, Rob Corddry, Analeigh Tipton and Dave Franco co-star in the movie adaptation, which opens in cinemas this August.
