Liam Neeson has expressed doubt about a possible A-Team sequel.

The Taken actor starred in the 2010 movie revival of the '80s TV series, which also featured Bradley Cooper, Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson and Sharlto Copley as the titular group of mercenaries.

Neeson revealed that a follow-up to the film is unlikely given that the movie earned just $177 million (£115m) at the box office.

"I don't think it made enough money," he told the Daily Express. "The studio don't want it."

Neeson recently backed the appointment of Ricky Gervais as host of the Golden Globes, saying that Gervais will shake up Hollywood's elite.

The actor can next be seen in the survival film The Grey, which will be released in the UK and US on January 27.
