Clooney plays a man working to repair his relationship with his children after his wife suffers a boating accident, and said that the character's wardrobe of Hawaiian print tops and khakis were a struggle to come to terms with.
"Yeah, that was almost ending all masculinity," Clooney told Celebuzz of the unfortunate ensembles.
"The minute you pull the khakis up about there, and the Hawaiian shirt tucked in to down there…"
The Descendants also stars Shailene Woodley, Beau Bridges, Robert Forster, Judy Greer and Matthew Lillard.
Earlier this week, Clooney won 'Best Actor' for his role in The Descendants at the 2012 Critics' Choice Awards.
