Sir Elton John's partner David Furnish has blasted Madonna's win at last night's Golden Globe awards.
Madonna won 'Best Original Song' for 'Masterpiece', taken from her recent directorial offering W.E., beating out John's Gnomeo & Juliet track 'Hello Hello'.

Taking to Facebook after the result was announced, Furnish branded the 53-year-old as an "embarrassment" and denounced her recent comments about Lady GaGa apparently copying her work.
"Madonna. Best song???? F**k off!!!" he wrote. "Madonna winning 'Best Original Song' truly shows how these awards have nothing to do with merit.
"Her acceptance speech was embarrassing in it's narcissism. And her critisism of Gaga shows how desperate she really is (sic)."
Earlier in the night, John declared that Madonna didn't "have a f**king chance" of winning 'Best Original Song'.
