Bryan Cranston: 'Tom Cruise is astonishing in Rock of Ages'

Bryan Cranston has praised his Rock of Ages co-star Tom Cruise as a hard worker.
Cranston credited Cruise with inspiring Rock of Ages' star-studded cast through his dedication to the movie.
"I don't think there's any harder working actor in Hollywood than Tom Cruise," the star told Access Hollywood. "He's a lovely guy and he's astonishing in this role."
Cranston also predicted that Cruise will be the film's standout as the lead singer of fictional heavy metal band Arsenal.
"I look at that character that he portrays and I don't see Tom Cruise. He has taken over this guy," Cranston remarked.
Julianne Hough, Russell Brand, Alec Baldwin, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Kevin Nash round out the Rock of Ages cast.
Rock of Ages opens on June 1 in the US and on June 8 in the UK.
