Tommy Lee Jones, Matthew Fox for WW2 drama 'Emperor'
Tommy Lee Jones has signed up for World War II drama Emperor.


The Men in Black III star will portray General Douglas MacArthur in the project alongside Lost actor Matthew Fox, reports Deadline.
Emperor will be directed by The Girl with the Pearl Earring's Peter Webber, and is based on a screenplay by David Klass and Vera Blasi.
The film will be based on true events and is set in the immediate aftermath of Japan's surrender at the end of WWII. Fox will play Japan expert General Bonner Fellers in the movie.
Producer Gary Foster said: "Tommy will bring strength, intelligence, and gravitas to the portrayal of General Douglas MacArthur, a legendary American hero."
Lee Jones will return as Agent K in Men in Black III when it hits cinemas on May 25.
