Liv Tyler stars in Ti West's 'The Side Effect'

The Lord of the Rings actress will feature in the director's new sci-fi thriller, reports Deadline.
Tyler will play Catherine Rigby, a test subject living in isolation in space as part of a pharmaceutical trial.
She awakens one day to find herself mysteriously and heavily pregnant and struggles with paranoia as she attempts to find answers to her condition.
Tyler called West "a super-talented exciting young filmmaker".
"The role of Rigby is a fantastic character within a great thriller and I am looking forward to sinking my teeth into the part," she said in a statement.
West is best known for his horror films, including House of the Devil and The Innkeepers.
Tyler has said that she is disappointed not to be reprising the role of Arwen in The Hobbit.
