Anthony Mackie wants to star in 'Lethal Weapon' movie

The Adjustment Bureau star, who can next be seen in the upcoming movie Man on a Ledge, revealed that he is a big fan of the buddy cop action films.
"I love heist films," Mackie told Screen Rant. "If I could, I would do Lethal Weapon 5 - I would do it in a heartbeat."
"I love those psychological thrillers," he added. "I'm going to be the young Danny Glover."
The actor went on to say that he would like Chris Evans to take the role of Riggs (originally played by Mel Gibson) in his proposed Lethal Weapon reboot.
"When I think of a young hothead who's full of hot air I think of Chris Evans," Mackie said. "Isn't he a guy you just want to smack around?"
In addition to Man on a Ledge, Mackie will also star in Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter opposite Benjamin Walker.
