The two actresses will join Tom Cruise on the untitled sci-fi film, reports Variety.
The film is based on Kosinski's Radical Publishing comics series, in which a soldier (Cruise) stationed on the ruined and ravaged Earth of the future discovers a mysterious survivor (Riseborough).
Kurylenko plays his partner, who maintains radio contact with him throughout his mission in the hostile environment.
One of the actresses is replacing Jessica Chastain in the movie, but as her role was unknown it is unclear whether Kurylenko or Riseborough has taken it.
Tron Legacy director Kosinski's movie was originally a Disney project, but was claimed by Universal Pictures after concerns arose that it did not fit in with the former's family-friendly brand.
Kurylenko previously starred in Hitman and will soon be seen in Starz miniseries Magic City.
Riseborough has also featured in Never Let Me Go and Made in Dagenham.
