Kristen Bell: 'I'm still hoping for Veronica Mars movie'

The actress starred as teenage investigator Veronica Mars for three seasons between 2004 and 2007. While the series was never a ratings success, it did receive praise from critics and was nominated for Writers Guild Awards and Teen Choice Awards.
Bell reflected on Veronica Mars in a new interview with TV Guideand suggested that a feature film continuation is possible.
"I'm so thankful for the impact that Veronica Mars has had on my life," she told the magazine. "It makes me excited that it affected people to the degree that it did. It makes me excited that fans still want a movie because I still want a movie."
Bell went on to say: "That wasn't an easy show to shoot or to publicise. I'm proud of it, and I think nothing compares to something you work on that you're genuinely proud of."
The actress previously vowed that she would help finance a Veronica Mars movie to get the project off the ground.
Bell's current series House of Lies airs airs Sundays at 10/9c on Showtime.
