Spider-Man to cameo in 'The Avengers'?

Spider-Man is rumoured to be making a cameo in The Avengers.
Logan's Run star Jenny Agutter apparently told Radio Times that she was stationed near Spider-Man and Iron Man's trailers during filming on Joss Whedon's movie.
A connection between the upcoming Avengers and Spider-Man films had not previously been made, and it remains a possibility that this was a mistake on Agutter or the interviewer's part.
"I'm sworn to secrecy," said Agutter regarding her role in the movie.
"I wasn't allowed a script until I got there, and when I did, I felt like a complete child being on big sets and a huge parking lot full of Winnebagos."
The Avengers is being produced by Disney/Marvel Studios and Spider-Man is a Sony/Columbia film.
The Avengers arrives in cinemas on April 27 in the UK and on May 4 in the US.
The Spider-Man reboot stars Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone and will debut on July 3.
