The ceremony - which awards the worst in movies - is traditionally held earlier in the award season, but founder John Wilson announced a change in the traditional schedule over the weekend.
Razzie nominations will now be announced on February 25, the night before the Academy Awards are given away in Hollywood on Sunday, February 26. The Razzies will also move its official Golden Raspberry Awards ceremony to April Fool's Day.
Wilson said the schedule change will allow voters "additional time to see the dreck they will eventually nominate".
Neil Diamond, Sylvester Stallone and George W Bush have won the 'Worst Actor' prize in previous years, while Madonna, Demi Moore and Sandra Bullock have all been named 'Worst Actress'.
Showgirls, Battlefield Earth and The Last Airbender are among the films to win 'Worst Picture'.
The first Razzies were handed out on March 31, 1981.
Last year's Razzies saw the cast of Sex and the City 2, Ashton Kutcher and Jessica Alba receive awards.
