The Moneyball actor quipped in a recent interview that it takes true skill to perform the perfect on-screen death.
"I die really well, by the way. It's one of my strong points. I just take a bullet well," he joked to W Magazine.
Pitt was then asked if he finds it hard watching himself die in films like Burn After Reading, where his character got shot point-blank in the face.
"God, no," the star replied. "I'm just checking the boxes. Hit that. Missed that. Hit that moment. Missed that one. God, I'd like to do that one again."
Pitt will next co-star with James Gandolfini in Cogan's Trade, opening later this year.
