'Top Cat: The Movie' to hit cinemas in August

Top Cat: The Movie is to hit UK cinemas this year, it has been revealed.
Vertigo Films has announced that a remake of the classic Hanna-Barbera cartoon will be released in August.
TC and his gang will face their greatest challenge yet when a new police chief threatens to retire the hapless Officer Dibble.

In a joint statement, Rupert Preston and Allan Niblo of the production company said: "Top Cat is an iconic and much-loved character known by nearly every parent in the UK.
"We are thrilled to be bringing Top Cat, his mischievous gang and Officer Dibble to a whole new generation"
Top Cat: The Movie, which has been created by Anima Studios, will be released in both 3D and 2D formats.
