X-Men executive producer Lauren Shuler Donner has revealed that plans are in development for a fourth instalment of the successful movie franchise.
However, whilst the newer members to join the cast have agreed to work on another film, big names such as Halle Berry, Hugh Jackman and Rebecca Romijn are yet to sign up.
In an interview with LA Daily News, Shuler Donner stated: "The newer cast members are signed, and the older cast members are not."
"We have the script and are working on it," she added.
Before production can begin on X-Men 4, there are also two spin-off movies in the works.
"Next, we're going to do Wolverine, but not before the end of the year because he's [Hugh Jackman] in the Baz Luhrmann film...We also have Young Magneto in development."
