Dwayne Johnson has promised that his Fast & Furious 5 character Luke Hobbs will "rip someone's f**king face off" in the upcoming sequel.

The wrestler-turned-actor, also known as The Rock, confirmed to Digital Spy that production will begin on The Fast and the Furious 6 this summer.
Johnson said: "I had a blast creating Hobbs. We should start shooting Fast 6 in June, and I can't wait. That was one of the most fun characters I've ever played. It's very close to me, by the way, close to the heart - that type of hunter of men.
"In Fast 6 there's unfinished business. I told Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel): 'You have a couple of days, then I'm still gonna come find you and I'm still bringing you in'. So that has to come full circle."
Asked if his character will "bring it" (Johnson's Twitter catchphrase) for the follow-up, he replied: "Hobbs is going to bring it. Hobbs is gonna rip someone's f**king face off, is what Hobbs is going to do!"
Johnson's new adventure movie Journey 2: The Mysterious Island opens in cinemas on February 3.
