Katherine Heigl's latest movie One for the Money will not be playing at the Midwest theatre chain Marcus Theatres.

Marcus Theatres did not agree with Lionsgate's deal with discount website Groupon to offer cheaper tickets for One for the Money, reports Deadline.

The financial disagreement has now apparently resulted in One for the Money not playing at Marcus Theatres.

The cinema chain has 55 locations in seven Midwest states - Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio and Wisconsin.

Based on Janet Evanovich's bestselling novel, One for the Money stars Heigl as a lingerie buyer who becomes a bounty hunter to earn money.

The former Grey's Anatomy actress became a brunette to portray her role in the movie.

One for the Money opens to theatres today in the US and on February 24 in the UK.
