Sarah Jessica Parker will replace Demi Moore in Lovelace, it has been confirmed.
The actress will play feminist activist Gloria Steinem in the Linda Lovelace biopic, after Moore pulled out of the project following her stint in hospital with "exhaustion".
Producers were said to have approached Weeds star Mary Louise Parker for the cameo, but the Sex and the City star officially secured the role on Friday (January 27), Us Weekly reports.

Lovelace stars Amanda Seyfried as the Deep Throat porn star and also features James Franco as Hugh Hefner, Juno Temple, Sharon Stone, Hank Azaria and Peter Sarsgaard.
Chloë Sevigny recently joined the cast as a feminist journalist assigned to write a story about Lovelace.
The movie, directed by Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman, is due out later this year.
