Vera Farmiga joins 'The Drummer' as Christine McVie

The Up in the Air actress will appear opposite Aaron Eckhart in the Dennis Wilson biopic from director Randy Miller.
Farmiga - who is a classically trained pianist - will portray Fleetwood Mac member Christine McVie, who had a relationship with the Beach Boys' drummer Wilson.
The Drummer will document the last six years of Wilson's life until his death in 1983.
Eckhart and Farmiga will reportedly record a number of duets for the project, according to PA.
Filming for the movie is expected to begin in June.
Vera Farmiga will next be seen in Safe House opposite Denzel Washington and Ryan Reynolds.
