Amanda Seyfried: "The era of the diva actress is coming to an end"

Amanda Seyfried has praised her fellow actresses for being down to earth.
The Lovelace actress confessed that she feels pressure to compete for roles but insisted that the pressure was due more to industry standards than the behaviour of her contemporaries.

"The funny thing is, the girls that I'm always up against for roles are pretty nice and cool, like Emma Watson. She's awesome," Seyfried said in an interview with Glamour.
"She's really funny and smart. And Carey Mulligan. It's flattering to be up against her because she's really good, and she's cool too... I think the era of the diva actress is coming to an end."
Seyfried also spoke out on her approach to dating, admitting that it is hard to have a romantic relationship with non-famous men as she is never sure of their motives.
"You learn very quickly what people are so enamoured with, and it's not necessarily me," she explained.
"I think it's all the bulls**t of the idea of someone who's famous, which seems more exotic than the fact. You have to be careful whom you date, but I had a great time this summer."
Seyfried dated Dominic Cooper for two years before the pair permanently split in May 2010.
