Gary Oldman joins Albert Hughes's 'Motor City'

The Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy actor will star in Albert Hughes's revenge thriller alongside Dominic Cooper and Amber Heard, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The film tells the tale of a small-time crook who is sent to prison for years after being framed for a crime.
Upon his release, he sets out for revenge and to win back the woman he loves.

Oldman - who recently picked up his first ever Oscar nomination for Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy - will play a kingpin character who has his hooks in the female lead.
He previously collaborated with Hughes on The Book of Eli.
Shooting on Motor City is planned to begin in Berlin in April.
