PETA protests against Liam Neeson after 'wolf stew' remark

While promoting the film, Neeson described the meat as "very gamey, but I'm Irish, so I'm used to odd stew".
PETA released a statement in response, urging movie-goers to boycott the film and saying: "Neeson's stance on kindness to animals is sorely out of step with the rest of the world."
A majority of the wolves in The Grey were created with CGI effects. However, PETA has stated that fresh wolf carcasses were allegedly ordered on set as well. It is unclear whether their claims are true or not, Radar Online reports.
The 59-year-old actor recently said that The Grey will likely be his last action movie this year.
The film debuted at number one at the US box office last weekend.
