Robert Pattinson: 'Nobody would give a s**t without Twilight'

Robert Pattinson has argued that "nobody would give a s**t" about him without The Twilight Saga.
The actor said that although he does not like the pressure that comes with playing Edward Cullen, he accepts that the franchise "opens doors".

"Doing something like Twilight opens doors and it closes others," Heat quotes him as saying. "You can say, 'Oh if I was still unknown, then no-one would judge me'.
"But at the same time, nobody would give a s**t either. It's a weird little balance."
Pattinson also admitted that he doesn't believe himself to be funny enough to star in a comedy.
"One of my legs is shorter than the other one, so that makes everything look really awkward," he said. "I can look like an idiot, but I don't know if I can be witty."
Pattinson is currently starring in David Cronenberg's Cosmopolis and has been described as a "sensational" actor by the director.
