Sarah Michelle Gellar has signed up for a starring role in new thriller Addicted, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Based on South Korean film Jungdok, the independently-funded movie will follow a woman as she tries to unearth the truth after her husband and brother-in-law get into a serious accident and the latter awakes from his coma claiming to be the husband.
The project is scheduled to start being filmed in October, and will be directed by Joel Bergvall and Simon Sandquist.
