Natalie Portman returns to work with two Terrence Malick films

Natalie Portman has been cast in two Terrence Malick dramas.

Portman will join Cate Blanchett, Christian Bale and Isabel Lucas in Knight of the Cups, and will team up with Ryan Gosling, Rooney Mara, Haley Bennett, Blanchett and Bale in Lawless, reports Deadline.

The two films mark the actress's return to work after winning the 'Best Actress' Oscar for Black Swan and giving birth to her first child last year.

It will also be Portman's first time working with the Tree of Life director.

Knight of the Cups will start shooting in summer, while Lawless begins shooting in autumn.

Last year, Portman suggested that she will retire from acting so she can raise her children, drawing inspiration from Audrey Hepburn.
