'Hunger Games' Josh Hutcherson would play President Snow

Josh Hutcherson has opened up about which Hunger Games character he would play instead of Peeta.

The actor, who recently confessed that he is a "big fan" of Ryan Gosling, revealed that he would completely alter the character of President Snow (Donald Sutherland) if he were given the chance to play him.

"I would probably say President Snow," Hutcherson told MTV News. "If I were President Snow, I could make some changes and give some power back to the people," he added.

Meanwhile, Jennifer Lawrence suggested that Peeta and Katniss will be getting married in the next instalment of the films, which is based on Suzanne Collins's second Hunger Games novel Catching Fire.

"We get married!" she said. Hutcherson added: "[It's] very exciting."

The 19-year-old previously insisted that he is very similar to Peeta, adding that he would have been distraught had he not landed the part.

The Hunger Games will hit the big screen on March 23, 2012 in the US and UK.
