Marc Webb has opened up about creating the look of the Lizard in The Amazing Spider-Man.
The director revealed that he looked to science to create a realistic look for the reptilian villain, adding that the process was time-consuming.

"We spent a lot of time thinking about the biology of a lizard, and how his muscles work, and there's an entire staff of people dedicated to making him look lifelike," Webb told The Hollywood Reporter.
"It is an extraordinary task, and very, very difficult," he confessed. "It takes a lot of time, which a lot of people in this room can attest to."
Webb recently promised that The Amazing Spider-Man is an entirely different movie from Sam Raimi's trilogy.
The Amazing Spider-Man will hit cinemas on 3D, IMAX and conventional release on July 3 worldwide.
