It tells the story of Dodge and Penny, two neighbours who go on a road trip to help fulfill each others' last wishes before an onrushing meteor collision brings about the end of the world.
He is seeking his long-lost one true love, while she is desperate to see her family for the last time.
Seeking a Friend for the End of the World marks the directorial debut of screenwriter Lorene Scafaria (Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist).
It will debut in cinemas on June 22.
