Rachel McAdams has said she is very happy that Midnight in Paris has become a global box-office success.
The actress - who co-starred with Owen Wilson in Midnight in Paris - told Reuters that she was honoured to collaborate with the movie's director Woody Allen.

"You never know how these things will go. Reading the script, I loved the sentiment," she said. "I loved this idea of Golden Age thinking and that maybe we should just celebrate the time we're in rather than wishing we were somewhere else."
McAdams added of her admiration for Allen: "Woody continues to communicate truths about life in such a funny and wonderful way that not all of us can articulate. I love that people responded to this film."
The star also wished Allen "much, much luck" at the Academy Awards, where Midnight in Paris will be up for four prizes.
Allen has previously described Midnight in Paris as his love-letter to the City of Lights.
