Game of Thrones' Nikolaj Coster-Waldau cast in Tom Cruise's 'Oblivion'

Nikolaj Coster Waldau is set to star alongside Tom Cruise in the sci-fi thriller Oblivion.
Based on Joseph Kosinski's graphic novel, Oblivion tells the story of a post-apocalyptic Earth where humans must live above the clouds. However, other humans who remain on Earth have to ward off alien Scavengers.
Cruise plays a drone repairman, while Coster Waldau will play the weapons expert Sykes, reports Deadline.
Directed by Kosinski, Oblivion also stars Morgan Freeman, Andrea Riseborough and Olga Kurylenko.
The film apparently will start shooting in March in Louisiana.
Coster Waldau can be seen as Jaime Lannister in Game of Thrones.
The Danish actor previously admitted he was surprised by the incest relationship that his character has with his twin sister Queen Cersei in the series.
Game of Thrones begins its second season on April 1 on HBO.
