Kim Kardashian is great in 'The Marriage Counselor', says Tyler Perry

Tyler Perry has said he is impressed with Kim Kardashian's performance in his new film The Marriage Counselor.
Kardashian co-stars with Jurnee Smollett in the movie as a young woman dealing with mounting personal problems, a role which Perry says he wrote "especially" for the reality star.

"It's a small role that she does a great job with. And I'm excited about it," the director told Access Hollywood. "I think it was a great experience for her and I think she was definitely supposed to be there."
Perry was also asked if he thinks Kardashian has a bright future as an actress.
"It depends on the role and the amount of work that she's willing to put into it. She certainly has what it takes to make it happen," the BET Comedy Award winner answered.
Perry blogged in November that he was happy Kardashian agreed to appear in The Marriage Counselor.
The filmmaker wrote at the time: "I thought and still do think, that it would be very responsible of her to be a part of this film. To have the young people that look up to her, see her in a film that is about what happens in life when you make the wrong choices."
The Marriage Counselor opens on July 27 in US cinemas.
