Gloria Steinem has revealed she is very happy that Sarah Jessica Parker will be playing her in the upcoming film Lovelace.
Parker accepted the role of Steinem as a last-minute replacement for Demi Moore, who dropped out of Lovelace as a result of her hospitalisation.

Steinem told Us Weekly at a New York City gala that she's pleased Parker agreed to appear in the biopic of porn star-turned-activist Linda Lovelace.
"I'm grateful that she wants to do it so much, because of the subject matter - because she understands how important sex trafficking and forced prostitution is," Steinem said, adding: "I'm very honoured that she wanted to do it."
Steinem also revealed that she's refrained from speaking with Parker too much about how she'd like to be portrayed in Lovelace.
"All I was thinking about was Linda. It didn't dawn on me that she was playing me. But she said she'd been watching interviews," the feministic icon commented.
"I think that Sex and the City was one of the few pop cultural admissions that friendship among women is crucial and that has really continuing appeal."
Parker previously admitted that the prospect of playing Steinem was "daunting", especially since she had so little time to prepare for Lovelace.
Lovelace - which stars Amanda Seyfried as Linda Lovelace and James Franco as Hugh Hefner - is expected to open later this year.
