I Killed Adolf Hitler is to be adapted for cinema by Studio Eight.
The company has acquired the rights to the graphic novel, which is written and illustrated by Norwegian cartoonist Jason.

Published by Fantagraphics Books in 2007, I Killed Adolf Hitler tells the story of a hitman sent back in time to assassinate Hitler and avert the holocaust. The contract killer botches his assignment, and the Fuhrer is sent forward in time to the present.
DC Walker of Up Country Productions has penned a screenplay for the adaptation. Studio Eight's Jamie and Alex Brown will oversee the project's development, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Jason's work is often compared to that of Tintin creator Herge, but there is no word on whether the adaptation will use motion capture like Steven Spielberg's recent The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn.
I Killed Adolf Hitler is yet to be given a release date.
