Video game adaptation tops Aussie chart

Silent Hill debuted at the top of the Australian box office chart last weekend, ousting Samuel L. Jackson thriller Snakes on a Plane from the position.
The video game adaptation grossed AUS$0.74m over the three-day period, beating Snakes' AUS$0.59m.
Also opening over the weekend were comedy sequel Clerks 2 and Friends With Money.
