Meg Ryan is reportedly in talks to star in new mystery Homeland Security.

According to Production Weekly, the actress has been lined up to take the place of Annette Bening, who was previously attached to the project.

Described as in the mould of Alfred Hitchcock's To Catch a Thief, the film will also feature Antonio Banderas in a leading role.

Written and directed by George Gallo, the project begins principal photography next month in Louisiana.
