'Bridesmaids' Ellie Kemper "super nervous" to present at Oscars 2012

By
Bridesmaids star Ellie Kemper has joked that she is "super nervous" to attend Sunday's Academy Awards.

Kemper will join her Bridesmaids co-stars Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Maya Rudolph, Rose Byrne and Wendi Mclendon-Covey to hand out a coveted Oscar, but has revealed that the cast know very little about their role on the show.

"I think the writers of the show are preparing a script for us, but I personally don't want to ad-lib. I'm going to be super nervous," she told Us Weekly. "I just want to have something to say. I just want to get in and out without messing up."

Kemper also revealed that she's yet to pick out a gown for the film industry's biggest night.

"I don't have a dress yet. It just has to be amazing. It's the Oscars," the actress declared. "I probably should be preparing more but I don't know enough of the secrets.

"Lots of water and no ice cream. I always eat ice cream, but this week it's no ice cream!"

Kemper's co-star McCarthy is nominated for a 'Best Supporting Actress' Oscar and Wiig also received a nod with her writing partner Annie Mumolo in the 'Original Screenplay' category.

Meryl Streep, Angelina Jolie, Michael Douglas, Tom Hanks and Tom Cruise will also present awards at this weekend's ceremony.

Billy Crystal hosts the 84th Academy Awards on Sunday, February 26, airing on ABC in the US and on Sky Movies in the UK.
