The actress, who appears in the leaked photos in question, said that people are ruining the surprise of the highly-anticipated sequel.
"JJ was very upset," Saldana told MTV News.
"I have to say that," she continued. "It's not going to stop people from intruding, but they are, and it's such a bummer because it only hurts them by stealing away the surprise."
Chris Pine, who plays James T Kirk in the film, recently praised the addition of Benedict Cumberbatch to the cast, describing him as "fantastic".
Star Trek 2 opens in the US and UK on May 17, 2013.
