Jack Kerouac's acclaimed Beat Generation novel On the Road will hit the big screen this September in a movie adaptation from Walter Salles (The Motorcycle Diaries).
Control star Sam Riley takes on the role of Kerouac's alter ego Sal Paradise, who embarks on a cross-country road trip with his friend Dean Moriarty (Garrett Hedlund). Twilight's Kristen Stewart plays Mary Lou, while Kirsten Dunst, Amy Adams and Viggo Mortensen are also among the supporting cast.
