Peter Jackson has unveiled a sixth production video for his upcoming film The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey.
In the production video, posted on Jackson's Facebook page, fans get a first look glimpse at filming in locations all over New Zealand.
The movie takes place before the events of the Lord of the Rings trilogy, and stars Martin Freeman as Bilbo Baggins, along with Aidan Turner, Richard Armitage, Ian McKellen, Luke Evans and Lee Pace.
Billy Connolly was announced last month as the latest addition to the cast. He will be playing a dwarf named Dain Ironfoot.
Stars from the original three Lord of the Rings films including Andy Serkis, Orlando Bloom, Cate Blanchett and Elijah Wood have all signed on to make cameos. Serkis is also assisting as Second Unit Director on the project.
The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey opens in cinemas on December 14 in the US and UK.
It will be followed by The Hobbit: There and Back Again on December 13 in 2013.
