A series of UK promotional banners for The Avengers has been released.
Called Marvel Avengers Assemble in the UK, the movie sees superheroes team up to pull the world back from the brink of disaster when an unexpected enemy threatens global security.
Captain America (Chris Evans), Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr) and Thor (Chris Hemsworth) lead the team, with Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) and Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) joining the fight to save the world.
The film, directed by Joss Whedon, is based on the Marvel comic book series The Avengers, which was first published in 1963.
The Avengers opens in UK cinemas on April 26 (under the title Marvel Avengers Assemble) and May 4 in the US.
