Dame Julie Andrews will receive a lifetime achievement from the Screen Actors Guild in January.

The actress follows contemporaries including Shirley Temple, Clint Eastwood and James Garner, the most recent winners of the prize. Andrews already holds an Oscar for her role in Mary Poppins.

The Screen Actors Guild awards will take place on January 28 in Los Angeles.
