The Battleship director and Jason Katims are working on a new script to revive the drama on the big screen, with the story said to focus on the lives of football coach Eric Taylor (Kyle Chandler) and his wife Tami (Connie Britton) after they leave Texas.

Berg, who cameoed as Tami's old high school boyfriend in the season 2 finale, told Digital Spy that Mo could return "madder and richer than ever" for the movie.
"It's a real war film that's the story of some Navy Seals that got into a very complicated gun fight in Afghanistan - 18 were killed and one survived," Berg said.
"I've been talking to the band Explosions in the Sky about doing the music for that film. They're a very special band."
Kitsch added that he will portray Mike Murphy, who he described as "probably the most honourable guy I've ever played", alongside Mark Wahlberg and Ben Foster in the action drama.
