'American Reunion' Shannon Elizabeth: 'We're all still the same'

By
Shannon Elizabeth has said that the cast members of American Reunion have not changed over the years.

The actress, who played exchange student Nadia in the original American Pie film, praised the "fun" atmosphere on the set and said she was glad to see that the dynamic was still the same between the film's actors.

"When I worked on the first American Pie, I never would have thought it would turn into what it has. I was just excited to get my first studio film and be a part of it," Elizabeth told People.

"When the old cast got back together for American Reunion, it felt like a high school reunion for all of us. The mood on set was a lot of fun. Everybody was joking around, having a good time. The only difference is now people have iPads. We didn't have iPads before, that was it. I don't think anyone has changed, we all just look like adults now. I look back at the first film and they all look like little babies!"

As to whether her own character has evolved since the first film, Elizabeth added: "It was a lot of fun to bring Nadia back. You get to see that her taste in men hasn't changed too much and she's the same girl that she was in high school 13 years ago!"

Franchise star Eugene Levy recently said that none of the characters in American Reunion had changed much since the original film.
